Tripping switchboard or RCD
Modern appliances and EV chargers ask more of older boards than they were designed for. We test, identify the fault circuit, and either rebalance or upgrade.
Old ceramic-fuse switchboard
Pre-1990s boards usually have no proper safety switches. We swap to modern RCBOs that protect every circuit individually — quoted on site, certificate at the end.
Adding power points to a room
Renovation, new media room, garage workshop — we run the cable cleanly, install the points and balance the existing circuits so nothing trips.
Installing an EV charger
Wall-mounted EV charger installs, including supply upgrades if your existing board can't carry the load. Tesla, ChargePoint, generic 7kW or 22kW.
Rural shed / pump / three-phase
Dairy, irrigation, machinery sheds — proper IP-rated enclosures, sized cable runs, sub-boards where they make sense.
Compliance + safety inspections
Pre-purchase inspections, RCD testing, exit/emergency lighting, test & tag for commercial sites.

Includes the first 30 minutes of labour on site, during business hours.
After the first 30 minutes
Mon–Fri · 7am–5pm
$125/ hr + GST
Billed in 30-minute blocks, during business hours.
Weekend & after-hours
Per hour
$195/ hr + GST
Outside business hours, weekends and public holidays. Charged from when we leave our Sale warehouse to when we return.
Business hours are Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm, excluding public holidays. Anything outside that runs at the after-hours rate. The service call is GST-inclusive; ongoing labour rates are plus GST. Materials (Matchmaster antenna, mast, brackets, cable) are quoted on site. Materials (boards, switchgear, cable, fittings) are quoted on site.
